Remember:  Ribbon, string and tinsel (icicles) are dangers to cats as when cats start chewing on them, the cats cannot spit them out so wind up swallowing the whole length.  This can led to a blockage or cutting of the intestines!  Keep all ribbon, string and other string like items away from cats.

Lilies are toxic to cats. Cats can die from kidney damage after eating even a small amount of a lily. Keep all lilies out the house! Don't put them on a high shelf- keep them out of the house!

I updated the forum to a newer version.  The previous theme has not been updated yet, so for now, we will all be using this current look.

Thanks, Dandee.

I am still working on things.  They changed the structure and files of the theme templates, so our former template does not completely render correctly.

The version of the forum program is 2.0 RC4, from Simple Machines Forum.  I am in the process of examining the styles others have made at http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?action=search;version[]=57.

Then I can modify the colors to suit us.

If anyone wants to go browse available styles, feel free and let me know what you like.  I can change background images and colors of things.

Whoa!  I uploaded a different style, but it had a problem and messed things up bad!

So, I am going to stop for now.

Mark pointed out to me that when viewed using Internet Explorer, everything is centered.  I had no idea, since I have been using Firefox. With Firefox, it is fine.

Oh me, oh my.   Well, sooner or later I will get that solved.

Sorry folks.

Edited to add that I checked on the Simple Machines site, and that problem with Internet Explorer has been reported.

I fixed it!  I solved the problem with everything being centered in IE!  :catwacko:

In the new section up at the top, I centered the "Happy Holiday", but, it did not put a closing center tag.  Though, I thought I had when I did it.  Well, anyway, since I did not have a close center tag after that greeting, it carried on the centering to the whole forum in IE.  Firefox didn't do that.

What a dumb thing.    :smackhead:  And here I went deleting trial themes and some mods etc. I know have learned to always, always, check things with both Firefox and Internet Explorer.  And to triple check any coding I added for a tiny little omission, that can make a big problem.

This is ok for now, Margaret.  I like the Natural themes and wish they had some kitty cat themes.  Keep up the good work.

Margaret:

The centering issue has been resolved.  Everything is now left justified.

One other comment - in the old version, on the home screen, at the bottom, we saw the last  or so posts.  Now, I don't see that.  Rather, I see some forum stats.

Hmm... not seeing where you can change the "themes"....... or colors.... did you do that yet?  There was a "stone" look that was nice that I saw the other day..... don't remember how I found it though.

I was trying to find how to get the list of recent posts back at the bottom. So far, I haven't found how.  I think that feature was a third party mod (code modification script) that was for the old version of the forum program.  I do want that back, so will be looking for how to get it.
