Remember:  Ribbon, string and tinsel (icicles) are dangers to cats as when cats start chewing on them, the cats cannot spit them out so wind up swallowing the whole length.  This can led to a blockage or cutting of the intestines!  Keep all ribbon, string and other string like items away from cats.

Lilies are toxic to cats. Cats can die from kidney damage after eating even a small amount of a lily. Keep all lilies out the house! Don't put them on a high shelf- keep them out of the house!

I'm very happy to hear that Misty is doing so much better but boy, what a sad turn for the blind kitty with the UTI!!!!  How can people be so cruel?????  I read (a few months back) a book about Homer, a blind cat that was raised by a woman living in NYC and that cat was AMAZING!!!!! (TRUE STORY!).  I wouldn't think twice about taking in a blind cat if needed.... or with any other disability.  So sad.... I hope the kitty finds a very, very good home soon!

Surprising turn of events with regard the blind cat,  we had two willing foster homes and one possible permanent home when we heard he had been homed.  Turns out the Vet fell in love with him & is keeping him herself so he will be looked after and loved. Nice to get good result for change
