Remember:  Ribbon, string and tinsel (icicles) are dangers to cats as when cats start chewing on them, the cats cannot spit them out so wind up swallowing the whole length.  This can led to a blockage or cutting of the intestines!  Keep all ribbon, string and other string like items away from cats.

Lilies are toxic to cats. Cats can die from kidney damage after eating even a small amount of a lily. Keep all lilies out the house! Don't put them on a high shelf- keep them out of the house!

Forum problem?
« on: August 23, 2007, 10:13:10 AM »

Right now I can only see about 3/4 of the threads on the forum - and the page ends.  It ends near the kitten question forum (sorry, forgot the title).  I tried refreshing the page, but to no avail.

This happened to me about a week ago - it went away later.  In the meantime, if I don't reply to the rest of the posts for a while, it's because I won't be able to get back on for quite a while - the petsitter is coming over and then I'm going shopping - getting ready to leave for vacation.   :catlol: :catlol:

ETA:  it ends at "General Kitten Questions/Discussions"  I just checked again - and it's still the very end of the page.

Hmm.  I am not sure why that is happening to you, Maria.

How about if you click on the link "Show unread posts since last visit" at the top of the page, under where it says "hello"?  Do you then get the list of posts since your last visit?

I forgot where you are going on vacation, but I hope you have a great time.  :catwacko:

The problem is gone.......that's exactly what happened about a week ago.  I'm not going to worry about it because it seems to fix itself.  It must be something on my end.

Vacation - to Lake George - leaving Saturday and returning the following weekend (Labor Day weekend).

I have the most wonderful petsitter so it's a pleasure for me to leave knowing that Molly and Jeremy will be well taken care of.  I also feed Missy upstairs on Saturday mornings and Carmen offered to do that.  However, Rose would take care of her, but since Carmen comes here anyway - and she loves kitties - she will enjoy having some play time with little Miss Daisy.   :catlol:

Have a great vacation Maria!!!  Just FYI - expect rain (and thunderstorms) tonight (Friday) and Saturday.  Very high temps and high humidity.  Sunday looks to be pretty good.... all next week, rain.

I think I know the problem because it has happened to me, too.

Margaret has some video on the main page.  It takes a while for the video portion to load.  Some times, part of the main page will load, say 3/4 or so, to around the spot where the video is. One the video finished loading, the rest of the page follows.

I've noticed that the video take a good deal of time, even at my office computer, which is hooked up with a very high speed connection to the internet.

Oh, that is not good.

Does anyone like that video news?  I can get rid of it.

For now, I moved it to the bottom of the forum.

Hmmmmmmm........I just got the 10 day forecast for the exact town we're in - it's partly sunny with a few thunderstorms Saturday, Sunday sunny with some clouds - and the rest of the week mostly sunny and some clouds - possibility of thunderstorms 2-3 days.  Temperature 80-85 until Friday - then 74.....for the rest of Labor Day weekend.  However, we're coming back before Monday.

It doesn't matter.....really.  I'm just grateful to be going.  Actually the reason I wanted the forecast was because one of my friends heard it was going to be "freezing" up there.....so far 3 forecasts!  I'm glad the Lord is still in charge of the weather.   :catlol:

Well, don't put too much stock in the forecast I gave you - the weathermen (several) have been completely wrong about our weather all week so far.... :motocanaglia_rolleyes:

Have a restful trip regardless of the weather!!!

Margaret - I do not watch the video news.  You can delete it as far as I am concerned.
